I remember the first day I went to the gym with my oxygen tank. I was so embarrassed. I was hoping that my need for supplemental O2 was a temporary thing. That was over 3 years ago. And guess what? I still need oxygen when I exercise. And while I’m now comfortable with exercising around other people with oxygen at the gym and outside (got over that pretty quickly:), it is nice to have the option of working out in the comfort of my own home.
Below is a series of basic strength training exercises that I do pretty frequently on days when I want to get in a quick workout at home. These 8 exercises work all the major muscle groups. For a real challenge you can go through the whole circuit a few times. Enjoy!
